BillieJean has worked for four firms in litigation for over 30 years in State and Federal jurisdictions, including personal injury, product liability, construction defect, subrogation/collection, corporate/transactional, criminal defense and family law/estate planning, patent infringement, as well as trust administration and probate. She has assisted attorneys at trial for jury selection, presentation of evidence and notes for reports to clients at the conclusion of each day. She has worked alongside Lubna Jahangiri in real estate/business litigation for over 10 years, and is a valuable asset to the firm, becoming an integral part of many of our client success stories.
During BillieJean’s career in the legal arena, she has successfully completed certificates in IT management and has assisted in the creation and implementation of a large scale case management forum. She has additionally obtained a certificate in management from UCLA Ext and has supervised/trained staff and associate attorneys in civil procedure and support for their mentoring attorneys and client relations. BillieJean is also a member of ALA (Association of Legal Administrators) and CCCLPA.
As our office manager and litigation case supervisor, BillieJean assists with and/or supervises client matters from intake through completion and the related client billing/collection. She additionally manages our staff and handles firm human resources and operations and is credited with assisting JLG with its steady growth .
BillieJean enjoys volunteering and helping others, supporting local businesses, local wine tasting with friends and colleagues, supporting basset hound rescue organizations, and most importantly, spending time with her family.
